On November 25, Finnish auction house Aleksi Auctions will offer 17 lots of rare personal belongings of Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar at auction. The notorious leader of the Medellin Cartel was killed in 1993 and his controversial legacy has inspired countless movies and books about his life. Here are six lots not to miss:

Pablo Escobar designed and commissioned a book that compiled a large number of cartoons related to his life published in newspapers and magazines between 1983 and 1991. It was published on July 2, 1992 and has been made into private collections for family members and close work and business partners. 150 books have been published and a lot of them have been destroyed because Pablo asked to destroy them when his persecution was at its worst, so that his loved ones would not have to suffer because of him. In addition, he wanted to protect people who were not known to be in contact with him in this way. Included are Colombian and international cartoonists, whose cartoons he carefully selected to use, however he refused to ask for the corresponding legal permissions from both the journalistic media that exposed them and their creators.

Another book is this photo album that contains 78 rare photos from Pablo Escobar’s son Juan Pablo’s first communion celebration. There are photos of Pablo Escobar, Gustavo Gaviria, Pablo’s sicarios, family members, other guests and politicians. The album was found hidden in one of the Hacienda Nápoles’ buildings, the estate of Pablo Escobar.

Here is Pablo Escobar’s shirt which he wore in the famous photo of him posing in front of the White House. Pablo’s former staff members Nena and Godoy kept the shirt in their house which is the same place Pablo was hiding at the end of his life.

This Motorola pager used by Pablo Escobar was also kept by his staff members Nena and Godoy.

Also in their collection of Escobar's items are his Rayban sunglasses.

The Ochoa brothers were also a part of the Medellin Cartel with Escobar, and this is their leather bag. The bag has the family’s ranch logo carved in it, making it an extremely rare item and probably the only one that has ever been sold out from the family.
