Billings' Summer Modern Art and Design Auction will be held on June 18 and feature over 400 lots of unique pieces from big names like Charles and Ray Eames, Vladimir Kagan, Hans Wegner, Mario Bellini, Paul Evans, George Nakashima and more. Here are a few lots to keep your eye on for any summer redecoration you may have planned.

Designed by Alberto Giacometti is this pair of andirons (metal supports for holding wood in a fireplace.) In 1977, Nelson Rockefeller founded Nelson Rockefeller Collection, Inc. and had his collection of original works by Diego and Alberto Giacometti cast in bronze and reproduced in small editions.

Another iconic pair are these Pierre Jeanneret ‘Easy’ chairs from Le Corbusier’s ambitious architectural city of Chandigarh, India. In the 1950s, the two were commissioned to design the city and Jeanneret designed these v-leg chairs in teak and cane that were durable and resistant to bugs and humidity.

Attributed to Studio Roche Bobois is this 'Voyage Immobile' Sectional. The iconic contemporary sectional features gorgeous fabrics and has a long lead time if you tried to purchase one now – supply chain issues are causing major issues in high-end contemporary furniture such as this.

Known for his work in glass, Max Ingrand designed this pair of pendant lamps with faceted ‘scalpellato’ glass diffusers for Fontana Arte. From the 1950s, these slim and sleek pendants add a sophisticated aura to any interior.

Marcel Breuer & Carlo Scarpa created this Carrara marble ‘Delfi’ dining table from Simon Gavina’s "Ultrarazionale" collection. It was a glamorous re-design of Breuer’s Rationalist design of the 1930s.

This is one work of a suite of paintings by late Los Angeles-based artist Herb Kornfeld whose colorful, geometric landscapes depict his adopted home-town of LA, as well as his wide international travels.
