His works and ideas profoundly influenced contemporary art and inspired many artists worldwide. Klein's minimalist and color-intensive paintings find parallels in the works of artists such as Mark Rothko and Barnett Newman, who are also renowned for their abstract and monochrome compositions. His unique artistic vision influenced modern artists like Yayoi Kusama and Anish Kapoor. In the modern art scene, his influence is evident in the works of artists such as James Turrell and Damien Hirst, whose works explore the play of color, space, and perception in various ways. The works of Piero Manzoni and Lucio Fontana also bear traces of Yves Klein's aesthetic influences. Klein’s unmistakable style is echoed in the works of artists like Ad Reinhardt and Robert Ryman, whose minimalist approaches and artistic reduction explore similar concepts of color and space. The spiritual depth and meditative quality in the works of Agnes Martin and Ellsworth Kelly also reflect his influence. Artists like Jackson Pollock and Willem de Kooning, known for their expressive and dynamic brushwork, were influenced by Klein’s bold use of color and form. His ideas about the connection between art and philosophy found echoes in the works of Joseph Beuys and John Cage. Other major artists who were inspired by Yves Klein or followed similar paths include Gerhard Richter and David Batchelor, whose works explore similar concepts of color, space, and perception. The artistic experimentation and boundary-breaking in the works of Marina Abramović and Olafur Eliasson also show his influence. Klein’s influence extends to modern art and conceptual art, as represented by artists like Damien Hirst and James Turrell. His bold and often philosophical approaches to art are also reflected in the works of Yayoi Kusama and Anish Kapoor. His ideas about the aesthetics of color and perception influenced artists such as James Turrell and Damien Hirst. In the contemporary art scene, parallels to Yves Klein can be found in the works of Damien Hirst and James Turrell, whose conceptual approaches and artistic depth reflect his influences.
