This is a 12-inch LP record jacket for the original Off-Broadway cast recording of the musical You Never Know, featuring music and lyrics by Cole Porter. The album was produced by Blue Pear Records of Longwood, Florida, and bears the catalog number BP 1015. The front cover displays an Art Deco-style illustration of a couple in formal attire, designed by Robert Troie. The production was presented by Stanley H. Handman and featured a cast including Esteban Chalbaud, Lynn Fitzpatrick, Dan Held, Rod Loomis, Grace Theveny, and Jamie Thomas. The reverse side contains extensive liner notes by Niles Marsh, a complete tracklist for three acts, and historical photographs of Cole Porter and various cast members. A circular stamp on the back identifies the release as a Limited Collectors Edition. A note on the reverse specifies that the recording was sourced from a rare acetate pressing of a monaural LP.
