About the artist: Yamila Velázquez (Las Tunas, Cuba, 1993) is a contemporary artist who uses digital intelligence tools; she currently lives and works in Alicante, Spain. Owner and partner of a company dedicated to the sale, representation and development of artists and artworks, Velázquez combines her business vision with a deep artistic sensitivity. This young Cuban talent has established herself in the field of digital art, using contemporary media to explore themes related to nature, landscape and the intimate relationship between woman and her surroundings. Her works address with subtlety and strong visual impact topics such as beauty, love, sensuality and feminine delicacy, always framed within enveloping, romantic and refined atmospheres. With a vibrant and expressive aesthetic, Yamila Velázquez manages to fuse classical influences with a modern language, resulting in versatile, fresh and deeply evocative works. The pictorial texture of her images, the masterful use of color and the emotionally balanced composition position her work as a current, high aesthetic-value artistic proposal. Shipping and presentation: The work will be carefully packed by a professional and shipped in a rigid cardboard tube, internally protected with bubble wrap to guarantee its integrity during transport. Shipments are made through reliable courier companies such as UPS, FedEx or Correos España, depending on destination and the most convenient option in each case. Estimated delivery time is 7 to 10 days, though it may vary depending on the destination country. The composition is presented as a dynamic diptych that pays tribute to two of the most legendary heroes in video game history, Sonic the Hedgehog and Mario, built with a complex three-dimensional structure of small pixel blocks. On the left, Sonic poses with a confident expression and crossed arms, while on the right, Mario jumps energetically in his classic blue and red outfit. Both figures are traversed by pronounced fractures from which a brilliant golden glow emanates, explicitly paying homage to the ancient Japanese technique of Kintsugi. Following this philosophy—repairing broken objects by enriching their cracks with precious metals—the work transforms the countless challenges, falls and defeats overcome by these iconic characters into the true source of their resilience, energy, and immortality in popular culture.
