Blue Heart sculpture, Chanel gold 24-karat glossy Instagram : XTC.Artist Sculpture in molded ceramic and hand-painted by the Artist XTC using ceramic, acrylic paints and varnishes and 24K pure gold leaf. The edition number applies to the sculpture fully painted by the artist and not to the metal base. Provided with its black base which is an integral part of the work. Numbered out of 20 and signed on the back, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided. The piece shipped is not necessarily the one in the photo but will be similar and unique Careful and tracked shipping. Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has evolved into a passion that had to be realized. XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement, through the appropriation of contemporary consumer goods. His creativity expresses itself through the bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermès, Veuve Clicquot champagne or caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds. He expresses his art through sculpture, mixing painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes minerals. He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey and advertising and addictions in general. All possible flaws or imperfections are an integral part of the work.
