XL Sculptural IRON METEORITE Campo del Cielo (Argentina

The Campo del Cielo meteorite fell to Earth about 4,500 years ago, in what is now Argentina, making it the largest-known fall of metallic meteorites. It was used by pre-Columbian peoples to manufacture metal utensils and caused genuine astonishment to the Spanish conquerors upon their arrival in the Americas. In this lot we present a full, large-sized Campo del Cielo metallic meteorite specimen with a sculptural, natural shape, very beautiful, numerous regmaglifos, and several positions in which it stands upright and looks fantastic. It has been cleaned and stabilized to prevent oxidation. A clean, sound specimen with no troublesome oxides, excellent quality, worthy of a great collection or museum. Metallic meteorites like this come from the cores of large asteroids that disintegrated during the formation of the solar system, and they have an age similar to that of the Earth itself, i.e., more than 4 billion years old. Since the Argentine government prohibited the export of these meteorites, their value has been rising rapidly. A safe value as an investment as well, since they are increasingly difficult to find for sale. An excellent opportunity to add this wonder of the universe to your collection. We are members of the leading international associations related to meteorites, which is why we guarantee the authenticity of all our meteorites and jewelry fashioned from this material for life. Buy with guarantees. - Members of IMCA with number #7412 (International Meteorite Collectors Association) - Members of GMA with number #G0095 (Global Meteorites Association) - Members of The Meteoritical Society with number #6667 Best regards and our best wishes.
