Wittmann Austria - Jaime Hayon - Chair - Vuelta FD - Metal, Fabric, Wood

This Mediterranean-Baroque yet timeless chair was designed in 2017 by Jaime Hayón for Wittmann. The Wittmann Hayon collection is strongly inspired by the philosophy of the Vienna Secession (Wiener Moderne) and stands for joie de vivre and confidence. Leaning on the typical Vuelta stitching, one sits comfortably on a seat cushion equipped with pocket springs. The sweep of the back shell gently slopes forward and becomes the armrest. The Vuelta Dining Chair stands on four legs that converge at a central point, making the seat rotatable. A pleasant effect that brings movement to casual dining rounds. The black metal core of the frame is wrapped in wood. The upholstery fabric “Majestic” comes in a delicate yellow tone. The chair is 82 cm high, 58 cm wide and also 58 cm deep. It is in used but good condition with minor signs of wear in the leg sleeves. These could also be supplied in gray, burgundy, or light brown, as spare parts are available.
