Weaver's Chair

Canadian. An early high armchair in old cream over original red paint, with a triple stretcher base, turned finials on the back posts, and baluster turned arms. The stretchers have a small ball turned at midpoint. A worker's chair, likely for weaving, due to the accentuated seat height. Ontario. 1825-1840. Unmarked.
