Wall box with Half-Hull Carvings

Canadian. A two-tier wall box with three carved sailboat half-hulls applied to the front. The facade is further enhanced with a chip-carved border and incised diamond motifs, along with two hearts and a star. All in a finely crazed original dry dark varnished surface. Ex. Chris Huntington collection. Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia. 1890-1920. Marked, with collection inventory number.
