This painting presents a scene of great chromatic intensity featuring a group of roosters and birds emerging among undulating shapes, vibrant colors, and intertwined movements. The composition develops against a bright yellow background that acts as a warm, expansive space, allowing the figures to stand out boldly. From the very first moment, the eye is drawn to the energy of the whole, where each curve seems to continue into the next and where animals, crests, tails, and plumage blend into a visual celebration full of vitality. In the bottom right, one of the most recognizable figures appears: a rooster with a stylized body, an upright neck, and a head turned to the left. Its silhouette is built from curved lines and intense colors that run across the chest, wings, and tail. The oranges, blues, greens, violets, and reddish tones follow one another over its body, giving it a majestic and fantastical appearance. The elevated position of its head conveys pride and vigilance, as if watching the movement of the other birds. In the center and at the upper area, another large avian figure stands out, extending its presence to both sides of the composition. Its body seems to transform into a succession of long, sinuous feathers, whose colors create swirls reminiscent of wind movement. The tail expands widely and blends with nearby shapes, making it difficult to separate one figure from another. This visual play adds mystery and turns the scene into a kind of collective dance. Toward the upper right, another elegant-profiled rooster appears, with a curved neck and a large spread tail. Its head is cut against the yellow background, revealing the beak and a small crest of warm color. The plumage is arranged in curved bands of green, blue, violet, orange, and pink, creating a figure full of dynamism. The bird's position seems to suggest it is advancing or responding to the songs of the other animals in the ensemble. On the left side and in the central lower area, new shapes emerge evoking partially hidden birds. Some heads and bodies are instantly recognizable, while others dissolve among the color arabesques. This ambiguity allows new details to be discovered each time the work is contemplated. The forms appear, disappear, and continually transform, as if the entire scene were animated by a movement that cannot be stopped. The dominant yellow background adds brightness and a nearly solar character to the composition. On it unfolds an extremely wide range of greens, blues, turquoise, violets, pinks, reds, and oranges that turn the painting into an explosion of color. The cool and warm tones alternate and complement each other, creating intense contrasts without losing unity. This chromatic richness conveys joy, strength, and a sense of abundance that fills the space completely. Curves are the essential element of the visual organization. The roosters’ tails, wings, necks, and crests extend into spirals and waves that traverse the scene. There are no completely still zones, as even the background seems to participate in the overall movement. The shapes recall flames, currents of water, wind-swept vegetation, or transforming clouds, reinforcing the symbolic connection between the animals and the forces of nature. The lower part is occupied by a succession of horizontal and undulating shapes that can be interpreted as ground, vegetation, or a fantastical space on which the birds move. The colors overlay in irregular bands and lead the gaze toward the rooster in the foreground. This dynamic base supports the entire composition and prevents the figures from appearing suspended, while extending the rhythm of their plumage to the edges of the frame. Beyond the representation of the birds, the work can be understood as an exaltation of energy, pride, and vitality. The rooster is traditionally a symbol of dawn, vigilance, and renewal, and here it appears multiplied and transformed into an exuberant presence. The intensity of the yellow recalls the coming of the sun, while the movement of the figures seems to announce the awakening of a new day full of strength and possibilities. Overall, this painting offers an imaginative and exuberant vision of several roosters wrapped in a universe of color and motion. The fusion between the figures, the plumage, and the undulating forms creates a vibrant composition that conveys joy, freedom, and extraordinary vital energy. Its chromatic richness and its incessant rhythm turn the scene into a celebration of nature, in which the birds seem to dance under a golden light and transform the entire space with the majesty of their shapes.
