Visconti - Van Gogh “Pollard Willows” – Bolígrafo - Ballpoint pen

The pen is presented in very good overall condition, showing careful preservation in line with a collectible piece from the prestigious Italian brand Visconti. The body, made of multicolor acrylic resin characteristic of the Van Gogh collection, maintains an attractive and deep shine, clearly appreciating the beautiful marble-like pattern of greens, ochres, reddish tones and amber that evoke the painting that inspires this edition. The surface is well preserved, with slight micro-scratches from handling typical of occasional use, without cracks, breaks or deformations. The metal elements feature a clean and elegant finish. The clip engraved with the inscription VISCONTI remains firmly attached and well aligned, showing proper polishing and only discreet signs of handling under close inspection. The central ring decorated with the brand name maintains a sharp definition in its engravings, contributing to the piece’s refined character. The pen’s twist mechanism operates smoothly and precisely, extending and retracting the nib correctly, which demonstrates proper functioning of the writing system. The piece has been checked to ensure proper operation and is delivered ready for use. Overall, this is a pen that preserves a very attractive aesthetic presence, with a level of conservation that makes it perfectly suitable for elegant daily use or as part of a collection dedicated to the Visconti house or to the Van Gogh series. Conservation recommendations To preserve the good condition of the piece, it is recommended to use quality refills compatible with the pen’s system, avoid bumps or drops that could damage the resin or metal elements, and keep it in a dry place protected from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keeping the mechanism clean and operating the twist system gently will help prolong the instrument’s lifespan. It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper preservation. Happy bidding!
