Late 1960s / Early 1970s. • Feature: Supplied complete with its original period cardboard box with orange and white geometric patterns (Dimensions: 17.5 x 17.5 cm). • Condition: Tile in good vintage condition. The gilded frame shows a very slight patina. The original box is sold as-is: the bottom cardboard remains rigid, but the transparent thermoformed lid on top is damaged and worn at the corners (retained solely for authenticity). 2. The Duo of Artists: Provence Scenes (Hand-Painted) • Theme: Two tiles on a glossy black background. One shows a couple before the Pont d’Avignon, the other a couple before a building or Provençal mas. • Origin: Villeroy & Boch Mettlach. Rare historical marking "Made in Germany Saar" (The Saar) dated 1964. • Technique & Condition: Fully hand-painted over glaze with a raised enamel relief (textured). Signed by the artist. Good vintage condition, with very slight micro-abrasions on the paint due to artisan nature (Weight: 273 g each). 3. The Piece of Tradition: The Fisherman in Relief • Theme: Fisherman with a line by the water, surrounded by a rich frieze of grape clusters and vine leaves. • Origin: Villeroy & Boch Mettlach (Made in Germany 02). 1950s-1960s. • Technique: High-quality decoration with superb raised enamel highlights (textured chromolithography). Good vintage condition. • Tile "The Dancers": Simple scene depicting two women in colorful traditional dresses evoking Andean or South American folklore. Villeroy & Boch Mettlach (Dated 1961).
