The delicious ice cream made from Italian lemons has long since been eaten, the days of the wonderful vacation in Sorrento have flown by - but these dark red corals from the Mediterranean keep the memory of the sunny south alive... This necklace from around 1960, made from particularly beautiful, dark red Mediterranean coral, consists of a long strand of perfectly polished pearls that are individually knotted. The large, round corals have a particularly uniform color and are strung in a graduated pattern. The practical gold-plated silver clasp is also designed in the shape of a ball. According to its hallmark, it was probably made in Germany. The materials used in the necklace thus also link the two countries and tell of dreamy vacation days. We had the necklace restrung and the pearl silk renewed and commissioned an appraisal to prove the value of the coral.
