全部拍賣 / Miscellaneous / Venini - Brigitte Karlsson & Ove Thorssen - Dish - Opulus - Murano glass
Rare and important large-sized Murano blown-glass centerpiece, belonging to the famous "Opulus" series. The piece was designed for the historic Venini furnace by the designer duo Brigitte Karlsson and Ove Thorssen, introduced to the market around the late '70s and early '80s. The object stands out for the elegant craftsmanship of the thick transparent glass, featuring a central spiral helicoid motif that fades into a texture of concentric circles etched toward the outer edge. This is the largest and most monumental version of the series. Details of the object: Manufacture: Venini (Murano, Venice) Model: Opulus Designer: Brigitte Karlsson & Ove Thorssen Year of production: 1979 (First edition of the series) Signature/Brand: At the base the original signature engraved in diamond-point: "venini italia 79" (visible in photo) Diameter: 49 cm Conditions: The object is presented in excellent vintage condition. It has no chips, hairlines, or restorations. Only light and normal signs of use on the base, consistent with its age. Shipping: The shipment will be carried out with professional high-protection packaging (double box and specific cushioning material for art glass) via tracked express courier and fully insured to guarantee the piece's integrity.
