Velluto in Seta Iridescente – Opera d’Arte by Osborne...

A sumptuous and magnetic fabric, signed Osborne & Little, one of the world’s most prestigious textile houses, renowned for its artistic creations and avant-garde chromatic research. This velvet arises from the union of viscose, silk, and cotton, a blend that gives it a soft, flowing hand, a virtually liquid touch and an iridescent sheen that shifts with the light. The tones blend into waves of iridescent color, where purple-brown, petrol blue, and golden sand meet in delicate yet vibrant hues, creating a unique painterly effect: every cut is a unique, one-of-a-kind work of art. On the back of the fabric you can notice light speckling or variations in the yarn, typical of artisanal velvet printing on a natural base. They are not defects but signs of authenticity and testimony to a complex production process, where every meter is the result of high-level manual workmanship. With its substantial weight — about 800 g/m — and its sturdy structure, it is ideal for dramatic drapery, upholstery, cushions, or luxurious decorative panels.
