In the style of (Dans le goût de) Loetz: The vase is deliberately designed in the tradition of the famous Austrian glassworks Johann Loetz Witwe. Artists and glass studios in the 1970s created these vases as a tribute to the flowing, organic marble- and swirl-techniques from the Art Nouveau period. The surface and form feature subtle organic indentations and irregularities, which seem to be the result of the glassblowing process and give the vase a pronounced sculptural character.
