Pair of Vintage Vases "V.B. Opaline Florence" – Garbed/Encased Glass – Italy, c. 1970 Splendid and heavy pair of vintage art glass vases encased, produced in Empoli (Florence) by the famous V.B. Opaline Florence atelier, dating from the late 1960s to the early 1970s. The pieces stand out for their refined Pop Art / Space Age design, with a lively marbled flame decoration. The construction consists of three stacked layers: inner white milk glass base, central decoration with colored enamels, and outer transparent crystal cover. The orange pitcher still bears its original paper label from the era, a very rare detail that certifies authenticity. The blue vase features the typical cold-smoothed flat base. Cup/vase (Blue/Orange): Height 24.5 cm, Width 10 cm, Weight: 687 g. Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or rounding."
