Vase (2) - Ceramic - Ancient limmi

Pair of ancient "Limmi" (or Lemmi) in glazed terracotta – popular Puglian ceramic from Grottaglie/Laterza, late 19th / early 20th century The interior and the rim edge are coated with a glossy lead-glazed cream-colored finish, hand-decorated with the historical technique called "a schizzi" or "smambriato".
