The white sparkle of high-quality diamonds inevitably attracts our attention. Four of these sparkling jewels are combined in this pair of earrings! A large brilliant-cut diamond sparkles beneath a smaller one on a golden leverback. The stones are set in simple frames made from high-carat white gold. The design is based on earrings from the turn of the century, as they are occasionally handed down, but rarely with such large and beautiful stones. In fact, the diamonds impress with their total weight of 3.64 carats as well as their particularly high-quality color: they are graded as "Fine White+" (Top Wesselton, F). Even though they show finely dispersed inclusions, their brilliance is very good. All diamonds are cut in a modern full cut. We discovered the two large diamonds without settings. They had been purchased as a pair in the 1960s, most likely with the intention of adorning earrings - but their previous owners had never had them set. We therefore decided to combine them with smaller diamonds of the same color and - finally - make them wearable. Yellow gold leverbacks make them easy to put on and ensure they stay securely in place on the ear. The pair comes with an individual appraisal for each of the two large diamonds and a further appraisal for the finished earrings.
