Fountain pen: Model: Waterman's Safety Pen (octagonal type model No. 42). Finish: 18-karat gold-laminated guilloché, bearing the engraving '18 KrP' on the side of the clip. Decoration: Geometric motif of leaves/feathers in tricolor enamel (black, red and gold) on the upper part of the cap. Nib: Original 14-karat solid gold nib, engraved 'WARRANTED 14Ct 1ST QUALITY', in perfect visual condition. Pencil / Matching piece: Same guilloché and gold-laminated finish. Slide/press-stem set with a blue cabochon (synthetic sapphire type). Overall, the set is in very good global aesthetic condition. The retractable mechanism turns well, although the internal seals from the period have not been serviced recently. You will find attached several detailed photographs showing the nib, the clip markings, the cap enamels, as well as the pencil's cabochon.
