Reverse: 1951. - Grade: PL64 (NGC) Issued to commemorate the Festival of Britain of 1951, this piece shows on the obverse the portrait of King George VI, while on the reverse appears the classic depiction of Saint George slaying the dragon, by Benedetto Pistrucci. This coin was the last crown (five shillings) issued during the reign of George VI and also the last before the restart of crown designs after his death. It exhibits a notable prooflike quality, with bright luster and well-defined details.
