Undated (ca. 1793-1795) Kentucky Token. W-8810. Rarity-2. Copper.

Undated (ca. 1793-1795) Kentucky Token. W-8810. Rarity-2. Copper. LANCASTER Edge. MS-65 RB (NGC). Nearly full mint color - as red as some RD coins we've seen - persists across both sides, with abundant frosty cartwheel enlivening the excellent aesthetic appeal. No heavy spots or staining are present on either side, and the surfaces are free of all but the most trivial disturbances. A firm strike has left all details nicely delineated. This lovely piece sits atop the NGC Census, and PCGS has never graded an example finer either. Provenance: From the Winslet Collection. NGC Census: 2; 0 finer. PCGS# 624. NGC ID: AUBN.
