The contrast between the brilliantly clear glass and the satin-smooth finish of the birds creates a stunning play of light and depth. The design is notable for its characteristic oval, slender form and the spiral terraces with articulated edges, flanked by charming, frosted muscovy ducks/birds (moineaux) in high relief on the sides.
