All automatic watches on first use must be wound, including via the crown, as wrist movement alone is not enough to maintain the necessary power reserve. RULE FOR ALL WATCHES WITH DATE To avoid possible damage to the movement, please do not set the date with the crown when the time is between 21:00 and 03:00. It is recommended to set the date with the crown when the time is between 03:05 and 20:55. (Some models have a screw-down crown; for settings, gently unscrew the crown counterclockwise. Do not forget to screw the crown back in properly after adjusting the desired settings.)
