Two Mexican Folk Art Ceramic Courting Couples - Tlaquepaque / Tonala

Mexico, Jalisco, Tlaquepaque / Tonala. Two vintage Mexican polychrome ceramic courtship groups in the Tlaquepaque and Tonalá style of Jalisc. Each tableau depicts a seated couple on a high-backed scrolled bench, one bench painted yellow and the other green, with the man holding a book and the woman in a patterned dress.
