Biography of the painter Tran Georges (1966). Born in 1960 in Cao Lãnh, the capital of Đồng Tháp province, located in the heart of the Mekong Delta in southern Vietnam Tran Georges – Master Copyist and Virtuoso of Oil Painting An accomplished artist and exceptional technician, Tran Georges establishes himself as a master copyist of exceptional talent. Based in Vietnam, he masters with striking precision the difficult art of oil painting on canvas, brilliantly capturing the stroke, soul, and palette of the greatest masters in world art history. From the geometric precision of Kandinsky’s abstract compositions to the swirling lyricism of Vincent van Gogh’s self-portraits, from the striking realism of Grant Wood’s American Gothic to the luminous aquatic atmospheres of David Hockney and the dreamlike surrealism of Salvador Dalí’s melting clocks, Tran Georges recreates universal masterpieces with remarkable fidelity. His meticulous craft, combining a keen eye for detail with masterful control of oil textures, bears witness to a deep artistic sensitivity. Each canvas reflects not only a rigorous study in copying but also a true homage to the icons of modern and classical painting.
