Time For A Swim - Kristen Olson Stone

Time For A Swim by Kristen Olson Stone Painting 18.0 x 24.0 :: This Mediterranean courtyard invites you to escape to a sun-drenched paradise! This is an original 24"" x 18"" or 61 x 45.5 cm watercolor painting. This striking landscape captures a light-filled courtyard centered around a shimmering turquoise-blue swimming pool surrounded by rustic terracotta planters and stone masonry. Vibrant pink and red bougainvillea flowers drape dramatically over elegant Spanish style arches balanced by the soft fronds of a tropical palm tree framing a brilliant clear sky. Painted with luminous watercolor paint with expressive details this artwork balances bold saturated pigments with the delicate translucency of the watercolor medium. The lovely interplay between the cool inviting pool water and the warm sun-baked garden tones creates an instant feeling of relaxation. This painting comes with a certificate of authenticity.
