Three fragment panels of late 17th / early 18th century Italian textiles; including a rare border of hand loomed Cisele cut velvet, a loose silk weave gold and turquoise damask panel and a blue silk velvet Baroque appliqué designed part border. All three were expensive prestigious textiles, reserved of nobility to adorn their castle interiors and for the Roman Catholic Churches of Europe. Cisele border 131cm long x 39cm wide. Condition; The Cisele border is very damaged, patched and worn. The turquoise damask panel has become loose and worn with age, but the colour is still strong and pattern bold. The Baroque part border, is very damaged.
