Thorgal 1 t/m 11 - De jonge jaren van Thorgal - complete...

The Early Years of Thorgal. The Worlds of Thorgal. By Surzhenko and Yann. Complete series, hardcover and first edition in nearly mint condition from publisher Le Lombard. The Early Years of Thorgal is a spin-off series within the overarching saga The Worlds of Thorgal. This particular series is a coming-of-age story that focuses entirely on the adventures of the young hero between his fifteenth and twentieth years. The comic fills the gap between his childhood (which we partly know from the album Aaricia) and the very first Thorgal album from 1980, The Ice Queen, in which he is chained to a rock by his bloodthirsty father-in-law Gandalf-the-mad. The series is created by the author duo Yann (script) and Roman Surzhenko (art). With great attention to Norse mythology and history.
