Executed in colour and black ink 墨 (sumi) on silk. The painting is bordered by silk brocade trims and set within a black lacquered wooden frame fitted with protective metal hardware. Two seals in the lower right corner. Period: Japan – Taishô period (1912-1926) Dimensions: Total width: 364 cm; Height: 170 cm. Considering its age, the screen is in very good restored condition, with wear consistent with age. Please refer to the photographs for a clear impression of the condition. The folding screen is well suited for mounting flat on a wall and presenting as a single work of art, but can of course also be displayed as a freestanding piece.
