Monumental rectangular gala tablecloth, 270 x 216 cm in two-tone color, entirely handmade and assembled by expert lace-making masters. The piece represents a masterpiece of Italian textile craftsmanship from the first half of the twentieth century, combining with extraordinary skill the technique of Needle Lace Point de Venise (Punto Burano) and rich Indentation-style inserts. The design unfolds through a sumptuous and intricate decorative arrangement in a baroque taste: • Centerpiece: An immense central medallion rich in scrolls, adorned by background nets with small bridges and picots. • Border and Drop: A triumph of geometric frames and figurative inserts with very high relief, characterized by vegetal motifs, delicate rose buds, and rich clusters of grapes deftly finished in full satin stitch. The thread is pure linen of the highest quality in the refined ivory/ecru shade.
