First AA prefix on the 2002 Government of Hong Kong paper $10 in excellent 67-EPQ grade. The last $10 note was issued by Standard Chartered Bank in 1995 and was replaced by a coin in 1993. However, the $10 note was missed by a large proportion of the local population, and the Government of Hong Kong began issuing its own $10 note in 2002. This note, bearing the first AA prefix, is the first ascending ladder of this type and is of great historical and collecting interest. Estimate: $1,000 - $1,500. Provenance: From the Grass Unweeded Collection. PMG Superb Gem Uncirculated 67 EPQ.
