(t) CHINA. Gold 100 Yuan, 1995. Sino-Japanese War Victory Series.

(t) CHINA. Gold 100 Yuan, 1995. Sino-Japanese War Victory Series. NGC PROOF-68 Ultra Cameo. KM-810. Mintage: 1,400 oz. Struck to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of the conflict between China and Japan during World War II. Obverse: Nanjing Massacre Monument; Reverse: Emblem of China. Quite amazingly, the first example of this type we have sold, speaking to its tremendous elusiveness in the market. Worthy of careful consideration as such, with collectability that surpasses many others. Estimate: $5,000 - $10,000. Click here for certification details from NGC. Click here to see Coins in Motion. (t) This lot was manufactured in China (including Hong Kong), Russia or Republic of Belarus and was sourced from outside the United States for this auction after tariffs were enacted by the United States.
