Studio Pierrot/Deen - 1 Animation Cel - Urusei Yatsura...

Urusei Yatsura – Ten – Hand-painted original animation cel + copy background Beautiful original animation cel from Urusei Yatsura, depicting Ten (Jariten) in a playful flying pose. The character is hand-painted on a sheet of acetate, following the traditional technique used in anime production before the advent of digital animation. The cel features at the top the original registration holes and the sequence indication “A2”, elements typical of the material used during the production process. Also included is the color background visible in the photographs, with sky and a utility pole. The background is NOT original to the production: it is a copy/print added exclusively for display purposes, to enhance the cel and recreate the atmosphere of the scene. The lot includes: * 1 hand-painted original animation cel with Ten * 1 color background in copy, not original A especially interesting item for collectors of Urusei Yatsura, Rumiko Takahashi and vintage Japanese animation.
