Detailed Description Technical and Stylistic Details: Period: Estimated mid-20th century. Style: Clear reference to Neoclassical style, visible in the geometric shapes and ornamentation inspired by classical antiquity. Frame Material: Solid brass. The brass shows a beautiful vintage patina and high-quality cast details. Leg Details: The four legs are magnificently worked. They are tapered and feature a deep vertical fluting, topped with balustrade-shaped capitals finely cast with foliate motifs. They end with stable and elegant feet. Seat Base: The rectangular structure supporting the seat is adorned along its entire perimeter with a refined Neoclassical frieze motif, adding a touch of opulence. Crossbar Detail: The legs are connected by an elegant curved H-brace crossbar with fluted joint bars, which not only strengthens the structure but also adds a distinctive decorative element. Upholstery: The rectangular seat is generously padded and upholstered in high-quality deep forest green cotton velvet. The velvet has a soft, luxurious finish. Bottom: As shown in the detailed photos, the base is solidly constructed with a support panel protected by a green fabric cover, and the feet are equipped with felt pads to protect floors.
