Stool (2) - Iron, Faux fur, Steel - Goldsmith Workshop

Fantastic pair of stools in full industrial style, typifying Mid-Century Modern, and coming from the workshop of a well-known jewelry studio in the Arezzo area; we are in Tuscany, at the gates of Florence, in the 1950s/60s. Made of solid iron, entirely handmade, raw and very minimal, with a black enamel finish, they feature a circular bar that joins the curved legs, four on one and five on the other. They sit on a solid steel threaded rod machined from solid stock, whose up-and-down travel ranges from 60 to 80 centimeters. The seat has been refinished over the years in classic synthetic leather; the inner cushion is still full and soft, ready to be upholstered with more vintage material (leather, fabrics, denim…) or replaced by a very pleasant circular wheel in worked wood. Splendid examples of preserved patina, highly sought after by architects and interior designers to be placed in today’s settings anywhere. They have been polished, and, for maximum safety, treated with rust protector, although they show no holes or damage attributable to rust. Descriptive accompanying images will be securely protected and sent to your new home. TO GUARD AGAINST ongoing fuel price increases (currently +7.3%), shipments are very expensive, including national ones. For the Italian islands, adjustments will be announced at the end of the auction regarding the sped.Italia option. We do not ship to European islands.
