STONE Caribbean Sea, Santo Domingo, Taíno people Whitish stone with black veins. Pre-1492. H. 17 cm – W. 41.5 cm – D. 7 cm Provenance: - Ferdinand Anton Collection, Germany - Daniel Blau Gallery, Munich, 2002 A large stone known as a trigonolite, featuring a Zemi head at each end and a tall point in the center. This piece is nearly identical to the one in the Quai Branly-Jacques Chirac Museum, on display at the Louvre in the Gallery of the Five Continents (No. 71.1893.60.1).
