全部拍賣 / Medals, Arms & Armor / Stato Maggiore / Reggimenti - Paperweight - Mod
A symbol of history and prestige to display on your own desk! This extraordinary antique solid bronze paperweight fuses the strength of military memory with the elegance of the art of metal casting. Depicting an antique helmet adorned with a majestic plume chiselled in bronze, the piece captures attention for the extraordinary rendering of details and for the warm glow of the original gilding. Perfect for elite militaria collectors, lovers of industrial vintage, or for anyone desiring a scenographic and history-rich paperweight for their desk. The upper part features a dynamic, flowing relief work that simulates the mane or decorative plumes typical of ceremonial helmets and the uniforms of high-ranking officers of the era. The reverse of the base, finely turned smooth, bears an era-mark punched into the metal, testimony to the attribution of the foundry or the serial piece. This type of object was commissioned as a corps souvenir, an honor prize, or a refined desk accessory for officers and students of military history. The piece is in generally good condition with a fascinating patina of time that enhances its engravings. A unique piece with a strong evocative charge, ready to enrich a private collection or a prestigious library.
