Sport Star Antichoc '1/5 stopwatch - Metal - 1950-1960

Classic mechanical vintage stopwatch of the Sport STAR model. This timekeeping instrument features a bright white dial with a black 60‑second scale, a red central second hand, and a red 60‑marker indication. The dial also includes a black 30‑minute counter at the 12 o'clock position, a 1/5 second scale, and the inscriptions 'Sport STAR', 'Antichoc', '1/5' and 'Swiss Made'. The metal case is marked on the side with the engraving 'Base Metal Swiss'. The stopwatch is equipped with an original Swiss hand-wound movement with one jewel. The plate carries the factory markings 'Swiss Made', 'One 1 Jewel' and 'Unadjusted', as well as the caliber stamps 'RC 173' and '410' under the balance wheel. The inside of the case back is stamped with the rectangular trademark 'Swiss Made – Base Metal'. The instrument operates via a crown at the top and a separate side button for the start/stop functions. The item is in good and neat vintage condition with light, age-appropriate signs of wear on the housing and the movement. The mechanism has been technically checked, responds directly to the controls, winds smoothly, and functions properly. Will be sent by registered and insured post.
