Wax seal stamp with a shaped wooden handle and a circular metal matrix, engraved in negative with the inscription “First National City Bank – New York”. In the center appears a globe with meridians and parallels, topped by a four-pointed star: a design with strong graphic impact, intended to leave a recognizable imprint in the wax. The handle retains a metal plate “Speckert + Klein – Zürich”, with address and telephone number. A detail that adds interest to this object, suitable for a collection of seals, desk tools and banking memorabilia. It shows patina and signs of use on the metal parts, along with small abrasions and traces of color on the wood. The period of manufacture and the actual use at the bank are not documented.
