Sparkling White Gold Tennis Bracelet with 2.90 ct Vintage Diamonds

Do you know why bracelets like this one are called tennis bracelets? It's thanks to an incident during a tennis match at the US Open. Here, Chris Evert lost her diamond-studded Rivière bracelet during a match and the match was interrupted so she could retrieve her beloved piece of jewellery. This was the birth of the tennis bracelet, which has gone down in jewelry history under this name. Of course, tennis bracelets already existed before this tennis match; they were extremely popular at the beginning of the 20th century. At that time, however, they were still very aptly called rivière bracelets. The French word "rivière" means "river" and describes the flowing appearance of this piece of jewellery. Because the individually set gemstones are held in place by movable elements made of precious metal, a tennis bracelet adapts beautifully to the shape of the wrist. This bracelet was created on our behalf using vintage diamonds. The diamond settings were made in Italy. A total of 72 vintage diamonds with a total weight of 2.90 carats are set. Each of the chain elements is connected to the next in a flexible way, making the bracelet wonderfully soft and easy to wear on the wrist. The design of the bracelet is based on the design of the 1980s. The precious gemstone setting and the light-colored metal combine to create a cool firework of sparkling light reflections that is nevertheless completely suitable for everyday wear.
