Beautiful portrait of a 17th-century lady, dressed in a rich red velvet gown, with gold embroidery. A hat to match the dress, topped with a large plume and a collar embroidered in the style of the period. The young lady carries a basket of flowers on her lap and in her hand a bouquet. This painting represents, as indicated at the top (Odoratus 3), an allegory of smell. Surely, this painting was part of a set of the 5 senses. Executed in oil on panel. In very good condition.
