Antique carved wooden banquette with pink fabric – Louis XV / Rococo style Elegant antique two-seat banquette in Louis XV / Rococo style, distinguished by a finely worked wooden frame and a particularly decorative silhouette. The back features a contoured shape typical of the Rocaille taste, topped by a remarkable central carved and pierced pediment, composed of volutes, foliage and botanical motifs. The curved crosspieces, carved armrests, and the curved feet harmoniously extend this décor. The walnut structure presents a beautiful warm brown tone and a natural patina. The woodwork combines sculpture, molding, and pierced elements. The seat, back, and armrests are upholstered in elegant vintage pink fabric with patterned motifs, traditionally fixed by a succession of patinated metal upholstery tacks, which nicely highlight the furniture’s curves. The banquette is presented in very good overall condition, with light traces and patina variations compatible with its age.
