The obverse features a modern and geometric design with the Slovak national shield in the center, surrounded by the state motto and the face value. The inscription “MOR HO!” references the famous Slovak patriotic poem by Samo Chalupka, used here as a symbolic element of bravery and resilience. The reverse shows the emblem of an Allied military unit under the inscription “D-DAY”, accompanied by the historical date 6.6.1944 and maritime motifs evoking the amphibious operation. The overall style is contemporary with clean lines and contrasted surfaces. The MS67 grade certified by PCGS indicates a virtually perfect specimen, with intense original luster, highly reflective fields, sharp relief, and no significant visible marks, placing it among the best-preserved examples of this commemorative issue.
