SKE - CARRERA 50 - ANNIVERSARY EDITION

CARRERA 50 - ANNIVERSARY EDITION Limited edition of 10 copies Artwork: diptych of 2 works Format: A3 portrait per poster (42x29.7 cm) Easy to frame Paper: Hahnemühle, premium art paper Publisher: Atelier Montmartre Artist: SKE Limited edition: only 10 diptychs Each copy is signed and numbered Certificate of authenticity included Sold unframed There are names that exceed the brands they belong to. Carrera is one of them. On October 5, 1972, Porsche unveiled the 911 Carrera RS 2.7, designed for racing and rallying. It became the first 911 to officially bear the name Carrera, with a silhouette that became mythical, notably thanks to its famous rear wing “ducktail.” In its era, it was also the fastest road-going Porsche 911 in the range. But Carrera also belongs to the history of watchmaking. The TAG Heuer Carrera, originally conceived by Jack Heuer to offer excellent readability in the world of automotive racing, shares with Porsche far more than a name: a shared culture of speed, precision and functional design. In 2022, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7, TAG Heuer and Porsche bring these two stories together around two official TAG Heuer Carrera × Porsche RS 2.7 chronographs. The colors are not chosen at random: they echo Glacier Blue and Guards Red, two hues associated with the original RS 2.7. The blue version, produced in 500 copies, features a steel case and many blue details inspired by Porsche. The red version, even more exclusive with 250 copies, gets a 18K rose gold case and the Guards Red accents characteristic of the car. Both rest on the 42 mm Carrera chronograph powered by the Heuer 02 movement. CARRERA 50 - ANNIVERSARY EDITION picks up this meeting to offer an artistic interpretation in the form of a diptych. Two posters. Two colors. Two chronographs. One same Porsche. One same name: Carrera. The red and blue compositions have intentionally been designed as two distinct but complementary works. They combine the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7, the graphic codes of its historic decorations, and the two anniversary watches, in a visual language inspired by automotive and watch posters of the 1970s. The set is designed to be displayed side by side: the red and the blue respond to each other without forming two mere variants of the same image. The diptych thus becomes a tribute to the meeting between automotive, competition and haute horlogerie, aimed above all at collectors and enthusiasts of the Porsche and Carrera universe. A deliberately very limited edition, conceived as a collectible piece around the 50th anniversary of the 911 Carrera RS 2.7 and the Porsche × TAG Heuer collaboration. Independent artistic work paying homage to this universe; it is not an official Porsche or TAG Heuer product. - ADVICE FOR FRAMING Your artwork is shipped rolled and protected in a tube. Upon receipt, remove it delicately and lay it flat for 48 to 72 hours so it regains its shape before framing. ISO formats (A3, A2, A1…) are very easy to frame with standard frames available at DIY or decoration stores. Personally, I use Leroy Merlin aluminum frames: simple, elegant, and economical, they showcase the works perfectly. - ARTIST BIO: SKE is a self-taught French artist with a wide range of skills who grew up in the 80s/90s culture that inspires most of his artistic work. He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stencil, graffiti, urban installations and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often double-entendre, fuse the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art. After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s profile has notably risen. Winner of the Urban Master contest first prize (2023), then elected Revelation of the Year at Challenge Color Jam (2025). SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by Opulence gallery in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition. His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. At the same time, SKE also asserts himself in the digital art market, a major trend in the last two years, strengthening the appeal of his creations to collectors. Icons of popular culture, bold graphics and texture play define a style that is now indispensable. SKE is undoubtedly an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value. Artist rated & rewarded – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work sits in a prestigious lineage. His line carries the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit classics, not hesitating to reinterpret Mona Lisa by da Vinci, Girl with a Pearl Earring by Vermeer, The Great Wave off Kanagawa by Hokusai, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms, to confront them with a modern urban aesthetic akin to Mr Brainwash or Kaws. POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing on the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons from our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and Scrooge McDuck’s symbolic greed. The influence of gaming, comics and manga is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokemon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), through Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami. LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes recalling Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits beside logos of luxury and fashion giants. His canvases capture the aesthetic of “Hype”: you meet the sneaker world (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and high fashion (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also integrates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with textured finishes sometimes reminiscent of Jeff Koons’ glossy finish or the facets of Richard Orlinski. This artwork is ideal for enriching a collection or bringing a dynamic touch to your interior. - Instagram artist SKE: ske_shakeyourart
