全部拍賣 / Furniture, Design & Mirrors / Silver, Art Nouveau, Butterfly - Necklace with pendant - D. Deumers S'hoven NL.
Beautiful large and rare silver 1920s–1930s Art Nouveau style openwork pendant featuring a butterfly and floral motifs + chain (faceted Gourmet chain). Marked: "i" (= domestic: Dutch) tax mark for Dutch silver, used from 1906–1953. and master mark DD1: D. Deumers, Schoonhoven, Netherlands (1921–1951). NB. The meaning of a butterfly is closely linked to transformation, growth and rebirth, due to the metamorphosis from caterpillar to butterfly, which symbolizes personal development and letting go of the past. Additionally, the butterfly stands for freedom, lightness, joy, beauty, immortality, and the human soul that frees itself. ** View my other ads!
