Sextant - Brass, Wood, Aluminium, Glass - Krasnogorsk fabriek / CHO-M

This sextant was produced in the Soviet Union for sea navigation. With a sextant you measure the angle between a celestial body (such as the Sun or a star) and the horizon to determine your position on Earth. Serial number: 8982 The CHO-M is known as a "workhorse": robust, reliable and very accurate. Additionally, the sextant is housed in a very sturdy case. Many photos have been added so that the condition of the sextant can be well assessed. Photos are part of the description. The sextant will be very well packed, insured and registered, shipped with a track and trace code. Also see my other lots and possibly save on shipping costs. Not shipped to the United States.
