Luxe Wardrobe Trunk / suit trunk with drawers, clothes hangers and original keys – ca. 1920-1940 Quite a beautiful and largely complete wardrobe trunk from the first half of the 20th century. This type of luxury travel case was used for longer train and ocean journeys and acted as a compact wardrobe during travel. The case features a very complete interior with four retractable drawers, a retractable hanging section with original wooden clothes hangers, and various storage compartments for clothes and personal belongings. The original keys are still present. The inside is lined with the original decorative fabric featuring a characteristic pattern. The outside is finished in black with metal reinforcements, corner pieces and original fittings. Thanks to the complete interior, the available keys, and the authentic appearance, this wardrobe trunk forms a particularly collectible item and a decorative piece of furniture for a classic or industrial interior.
