Surface - smooth, thin and fragile, with visible delicate spiral lines. Aperture (opening): very wide, occupying a substantial part of the shell; the edge is thin and sharp. Coloration: usually light brown, yellowish-gray, or cream, with darker streaks and speckles; the interior of the aperture is white or slightly pinkish. Dimensions - 115/150/180 mm.
